SideQuest ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use playgamequest.com, why we collect it, and your rights.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address, display name, and authentication identifiers (including Google sign-in if used).
- App data: buddy pairings, quest history, XP, comfort-zone and budget preferences you set.
- Technical data: basic logs (IP, browser, timestamps) used to keep the service running and secure.
How we use it
- To create your account and pair you with a buddy.
- To generate quests within your filters and track shared progress.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Account info is shared only with the buddy you pair with (display name, XP, quest history). We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, authentication) bound by their own data agreements.
Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@playgamequest.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, pairings, and quest history.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies and local storage required for authentication and session management. No third-party advertising trackers.
Children
SideQuest is intended for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
